Description:
I. In accordance with the "Taipei City Outstanding Citizen Selection Guidelines" revised and promulgated by the Municipal Government on January 6, 2020, Order No. 1086039545.
II. In accordance with Article 2 of the aforementioned guidelines, citizens of this city with good moral character and one of the following achievements within the last three years may be recommended by individuals or organizations for the Outstanding Citizen selection:
(1) Inventions or works, approved by the relevant competent authorities, that have made significant contributions to the municipal construction of this city.
(2) Specific suggestions or improvement measures for municipal reforms proposed for this city, which have been adopted and implemented by the Municipal Government, with significant concrete achievements.
(3) Active participation in promoting social welfare activities, fostering social harmony, and making significant contributions.
(4) Significant achievements in national diplomacy.
(5) Other outstanding achievements that serve as a model for society.
III. Citizens of this city who have the above-mentioned achievements may, in accordance with regulations, have individuals or organizations fill out the recommendation form in duplicate (11 copies) along with relevant supporting materials, and submit them to the Department of Civil Affairs of the Municipal Government for review and selection.
IV. Attached are "Taipei City Outstanding Citizen Selection Guidelines", "Taipei City Outstanding Citizen Recommendation Form", and "Taipei City Outstanding Citizen Personal Data Inquiry Consent Form" each one copy.
V. The promotional copy is as follows, please refer to it for use:
(1) 30 characters: The selection of Outstanding Citizens for Taipei City in 2023 is open for recommendations from April 1st to July 31st.
(2) 60 characters: The selection process for Outstanding Citizens of Taipei City in 2023 is open for recommendations from April 1st to July 31st. Organizations are welcome to enthusiastically recommend citizens of this city to participate in the selection. Please refer to the official website of the Department of Civil Affairs for details.
(3) 90 characters: The selection process for Outstanding Citizens of Taipei City in 2023 is open for recommendations from April 1st to July 31st. Organizations are welcome to enthusiastically recommend citizens of this city with good moral character to participate in the selection. The application and recommendation form can be downloaded from the official website of the Department of Civil Affairs of the Taipei City Government starting April 1st.
