I. Activity Location and Date:
(1) Visiting School: Jinding Elementary School, Jinhu Township, Kinmen County.
(2) Visiting Time: October 4, 2023 (Wednesday) to October 6, 2023 (Friday), a total of 3 days and 2 nights.
★If affected by epidemic, weather, or flight factors, the travel agency will adjust the visiting time based on the actual situation and with the school's consent.
II. Target Audience: Students in the fourth and fifth grades of our school.
III. Number of Participating Students: A maximum of 35 students (including students with financial assistance).
IV. Itinerary (Tentative, subject to adjustment based on actual weather conditions):
Flight between Taipei Songshan and Kinmen Shangyi
Day 1 [Battlefield History and Minnan Architecture] ~ School → Gather at Songshan Airport → Kinmen Shangyi Airport → Guningtou Battle Museum → Chen Jinglan Western-style House → Shanhou Folk Culture Village → Shishan Artillery Command Post.
Day 2 [Inter-school Exchange and Geological Exploration] ~ Visit Jinding Elementary School and participate in inter-school exchange activities →擎天廳 (Qingtian Hall) →莒光樓 (Juguang Tower) → Anqi Stone Lion photo tour.
Day 3 [Beauty of Technology and Beauty of Kinmen] ~ Kinmen Bridge and Little Kinmen special tour → South City Gate Architecture → Ye Huacheng Former Residence → Zhishan Tunnel → Airport → Taiwan.
V. Registration Period: From now until June 21 (Wednesday) 12:00 PM.
VI. Registration Method:
Phase 1: Please complete the registration form and submit it to the Dean of Students' Office before June 21 (Wednesday) 12:00 PM.
Phase 2: The school will review the number of applicants from Phase 1 to determine the admission method (direct admission or separate selection). Selection content includes self-care ability, cultural understanding, interpersonal skills, etc. (through oral or interactive methods).
★If a selection activity is required, the selection date will be notified separately!
VII. Important Notes After Admission
★Preparation Materials: Content includes 1. Geographical location and characteristics of Kinmen County, 2. School characteristics of Jinding Elementary School in Kinmen County, 3. Minnan architectural aesthetics, battlefield cultural tour, Taiwu Mountain geological exploration, and other culturally distinctive activities. Present in PPT format or oral report. The cover page of the materials should indicate the class and name.
★Pre-trip training sessions will be conducted in groups for inter-school exchange courses, such as local cultural knowledge, oral expression skills, and group social skills.
★After returning from the exchange, complete relevant visit reports.
VIII. Activity Fee: Each student will be charged approximately NT$9,000 (the fee is subject to adjustment based on the Education Bureau's funding subsidy) (To encourage students from low-income families to participate in exchange activities, students from low-income households will be subsidized NT$5,000). The fee will be notified after admission is confirmed.
IX. Students from disadvantaged families should attach relevant proof when registering. If there are more than one applicant, in addition to the selection method mentioned above, the Dean of Students' Office will convene a relevant meeting to decide the list of admitted students.
X. Students with special illnesses must fill out the registration form in detail when registering. The school will make appropriate arrangements based on the extent of medical resource support.
