Description:
I. In accordance with the National Kaohsiung Normal University's letter No. 1121000137 dated January 10, 112.
II. The aforementioned competition is guided by the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the National Science Council's National Applied Research Laboratories, and is jointly organized by National Kaohsiung Normal University, NARLabs' National Center for High-Performance Computing, National Museum of Natural Science, National Taiwan Science Education Center, National Science and Technology Museum, National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium, and National Museum of Marine Science and Technology. It invites teachers and students interested in science to develop scientific questions, collect and understand data, explore, and express themselves, solving life issues from a scientific perspective and cultivating scientific narrative abilities.
III. The competition categories are divided into Elementary School Group (grades 3-6), Junior High School Group, Senior High School Group, Vocational High School Group, Teacher Group, and College/University and General Public Group. In addition, to encourage female, new immigrant, and indigenous students to participate in scientific inquiry, a bonus point mechanism is established.
IV. Participants in the aforementioned competition can select theme ideas during registration, which are derived from the five major museums. The museums will select the Museum Award.
V. The registration period for the competition is from February 1 to April 10, 112.
VI. The submission deadline for works is April 11, 112, at 12:00 PM.
VII. The preliminary round will be judged online, with the top 6 teams advancing to the semi-finals and presenting on-site on June 17, 112, at the National Science and Technology Museum (due to the pandemic, the organizers reserve the right to adjust the time and location).
