I. The arts and cultural activities are expressions of diverse arts. To broaden students' artistic and cultural literacy and their horizons in dance arts, our company is introducing the most classic repertoire "Swan Lake" performed by the United Ukrainian Ballet, which has been acclaimed by the British media as "This performance is almost a miracle"! The United Ukrainian Ballet(THE UNITED UKRAINIAN BALLET)brings together top Ukrainian ballet dancers. Their debut performance in London in June 2022 received unprecedented applause. In the autumn of the same year, the company launched the "Swan Lake" tour in Australia and Singapore, declaring Ukraine's resilience to the world through this greatest dance work. By watching high-quality performances live, students can not only enhance their artistic appreciation skills but also understand the basic etiquette expected in arts and cultural performance venues, demonstrating recognition, respect, and care for arts and culture.

II. The performance information for "2023 United Ukrainian Ballet "Swan Lake"" is as follows:

(I) Performance Dates: From April 29, 2023 (Saturday) to April 30, 2023 (Sunday)
(II) Performance Venue: Taipei Performing Arts Center (April 29-30, 2023)
(III) Performance Introduction: At the call and effort of Igone de Jongh, former artistic director of the Dutch National Ballet, a large group of ballet dancers were transported from Ukraine to the Netherlands and settled there. Funds were raised to support the dancers' lives, allowing them to put on their dancing shoes again, return to practice, and maintain normal performances. In 2023, as the pandemic eased and borders reopened, the United Ukrainian Ballet became the first international-level major ballet company to perform in Taiwan in three years with its most complete scale. In the spring, they brought an artistic feast that combined top-notch dancing with resilient life force. Unlike ordinary ballet, they express their plea for peace through artistic performance.
