Announcement Summary

Notification: Ministry of Education's "2023 National Lifelong Learning Model Selection Implementation Plan" information~

1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. Tai Jiao She (1) Zi No. 1122401907 dated May 11, 112.

2. The aforementioned project is the Ministry of Education's initiative to strengthen the concept of lifelong learning among the public and encourage people nationwide to participate in the selection of lifelong learning role models, thereby promoting the development of a learning society. We kindly request all levels of government agencies, schools, and organizations in this city to enthusiastically recommend outstanding lifelong learners. The qualifications for recommended individuals are as follows:

(1) Individuals aged 18 and above, without current enrollment in an academic institution, who have engaged in lifelong learning activities for over 5 years, developed their personal careers, strived for self-realization, and serve as exemplary learners.

(2) Individuals who continuously pursue lifelong learning, adapt to societal changes, effectively utilize learning resources, are enthusiastic about sharing their learning experiences, and have achieved outstanding results.

(3) To broaden the promotion of lifelong learning concepts and uphold the principle of fairness, individuals who have previously received the National Lifelong Learning Role Model Award are not eligible for re-nomination. If your agency, school, or organization has a list of recommended individuals, please submit the application form and related materials (including a CD) to this bureau by Friday, June 9, 112, in accordance with the submission items, specifications, and quantities listed in Attachment 1, "Data Verification Form," of the implementation plan (postmark date will be the basis; please mark "112th National Lifelong Learning Role Model Selection." Late submissions will not be accepted). The Education Bureau will conduct an initial review based on the selection criteria and the city's recommended quota (up to 5 individuals) before forwarding the materials to the National Taiwan Science Education Center, the implementing unit of the Ministry of Education, for the secondary review.

4. To facilitate the initial review and timely submission of the city's recommended list, after the recommended materials are received by this bureau, if the bureau notifies that the submitted materials are incomplete, please cooperate in providing the supplementary information within the deadline. Failure to complete the supplementary submission within the deadline will result in the application not being accepted.
