I. In accordance with the letter from the Council of Indigenous Peoples, Ref. No. CGE-1120021625, dated May 10, 2023.
II. To provide indigenous students with opportunities to study their tribal languages during the summer, build diverse language learning channels, and create spaces for language use, thereby enhancing the awareness of tribal language revitalization among indigenous students and their parents.
III. The details of the aforementioned activity are summarized as follows:
(I) Eligibility for Participation:
1. Indigenous elementary and middle school students aged 10 and above, as a general principle.
2. Each camp will primarily recruit students of that specific tribal language, as a general principle.
3. Students not belonging to the specific tribal language may be admitted if there are unfilled slots.
(II) Registration and Admission:
1. Registration Period:
(1) First Phase: From now until June 12, 2023 (Monday).
(2) Second Phase: Open for registration for tribal languages and camps that did not reach full enrollment in the first phase. The registration period is from June 14, 2023 (Wednesday) to June 19, 2023 (Monday).
(3) Each school shall promote this brochure to indigenous students. Students and parents shall complete the form and submit it to the respective organizing units for compilation.
2. Announcement of Admission:
(1) Phase 1: June 14, 2023 (Wednesday).
(2) Phase 2: June 21, 2023 (Wednesday).
(3) The list of admitted and waitlisted students for each tribal language camp session can be found in the path specified in Attachment 2 of the brochure.
(III) Activity Fees: Fully subsidized (including accommodation, meals, and round-trip transportation during the activity period).
