II. Activity Objectives: The Ministry of Education's Hokkien Teaching Language Research and Development Center project, "Immersive Bilingual Team for Elementary School Life and Social Studies," has spent two years on research and development. It utilizes elementary school life and social studies textbooks that align with the Ministry of Education's 12-year curriculum. Based on the publication grade at the time, it covers the first and second grades of the life domain, and the first semester of the third and fourth grades of the social studies domain. It identifies immersive bilingual units for local languages that are suitable for on-site teaching, and includes Hokkien-Chinese bilingual vocabulary and audio recordings. Through the handbook launch event, the project aims to showcase its achievements and provide a reference resource for teachers as supplementary teaching materials.
III. Target Audience: Priority will be given to in-service elementary school teachers of life and social studies. Subsequently, the order of arrangement will be in-service teachers, substitute teachers, and support teachers, for a total of 50 participants.
IV. Activity Date and Location: August 1, 112 (Tuesday), from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, in Classroom F104, Chin-Pu Building, National Taichung University of Education.
