I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's National Education Administration's letter No. 1135500249 dated February 19, 113.

II. To assist the National Education Administration in subsidizing the bilingual teaching plan for certain subject areas and to help junior and senior high school teachers in self-funded bilingual programs improve their bilingual teaching capabilities, and to assist public elementary and junior high school English teachers in enhancing their English teaching effectiveness, the National Education Administration has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to carry out the aforementioned program. This is achieved by sending the aforementioned teachers abroad for short-term advanced studies during the summer, enabling them to teach students with better teaching strategies, thereby improving student learning outcomes and English proficiency.

III. Considering that the application period for this program coincides with the Lunar New Year in 113, the National Education Administration has extended the application deadline to Friday, March 8, 113, to ensure that teachers can apply smoothly.

For details regarding the application qualifications and methods for the overseas advanced studies program, the implementation methods, notification of acceptance, pre-departure briefing, and the rights and obligations of admitted teachers, please refer to the attached application brochure.
