1. In accordance with the letter from the Hakka Affairs Council, Ref. No. KKHZ-1121501528, dated January 5, 2024.

2. To encourage students to use Hakka in campus communication, integrate Hakka into daily life, and gradually make it the language of campus life, a Hakka conversational ability competition is being held. The competition categories include junior elementary school, senior elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. It is further divided into two groups: the General Area and the Hakka Cultural Development Area. Through the competition, students will be encouraged to converse in Hakka with their peers, increasing the frequency of Hakka usage, thereby enhancing the Hakka proficiency and visibility among young students.

3. Winning teams will be awarded team trophies, individual certificates, and generous cash prizes. Registration is open from now until March 31, 2024. 4. To ensure that teachers and students from public and private elementary, junior high, and senior high schools across the country understand the competition methods, procedures, judging criteria, and awards for the "2024 National Primary and Secondary School Hakka Arts and Culture Competition - Hakka Conversational Ability Competition," two online information sessions will be held in March 2024. The first session is scheduled for March 9, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and the second session is scheduled for March 13, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Each session has a limit of 300 participants. We cordially invite teachers and administrators from schools interested in participating to register for the online information sessions.
