Notification: National Taipei University of Education, Elementary School Natural Science Teaching and Research Center is holding the "3rd Elementary School Natural Science Experiment Bilingual Teaching Activity Production Competition" information~

Description:

I. This event is organized in accordance with the "113-114 Ministry of Education Subsidy for Normal Universities' Natural Science Teaching and Research Centers (Elementary School Group) Establishment Project".

II. The competition entries focus on bilingual experimental teaching in natural sciences for the elementary school level. Teams can consist of 1 to 5 members, and members can collaborate across departments and schools.

III. Competition details are as follows:

(I) Participants: 1. Teacher Education Student Group: Currently enrolled students nationwide in universities with elementary school teacher training qualifications (including teacher education students, curriculum students, and six-month internship students). 2. In-service/Qualified Teacher Group: Full-time, substitute, and temporary teachers in public and private elementary schools nationwide, or teachers who have obtained a teaching certificate.

(II) Registration Period: Please complete the registration form by Wednesday, July 31, 113 (2024).Registration form link), and submit application materials via email (rcst.es@mail.ntue.edu.tw). The submission time will be based on the email timestamp. Late submissions will not be accepted.

(III) Please refer to the prospectus and its attachments for registration methods (you can also download them from the latest news section on the website of the Department of Natural Science Education at our university).

(IV) Experts and scholars in natural sciences and English education from within and outside the university will be invited to review the entries. For each of the two competition groups, the following awards will be given: (1) Special Prize: 1 group/person with a prize of NT$10,000 and a certificate for each person; (2) Excellence Award: 2 groups/people with a prize of NT$6,000 and a certificate for each person; (3) First Prize: 3 groups/people with a prize of NT$3,000 and a certificate for each person; (4) Honorable Mention: Several individuals, each receiving a certificate. All participants who submit complete application materials will receive a certificate of participation. The competition results will be announced by the end of October 113 (2024) on the website of the Department of Natural Science Education at National Taipei University of Education.
