Description:

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's National Academy for Educational Research (hereinafter referred to as the NAER) letter No. 1135703157A dated September 12, 113.

II. To comply with Article 43, Paragraph 1 of the "Indigenous Peoples Education Act" (briefly stating that "Educational authorities at all levels shall promote policies that foster the recognition and respect of Indigenous Peoples by all citizens, and may encourage and subsidize non-profit organizations, corporations, or groups to conduct Indigenous Peoples and multicultural education for the general public"); In response to the professional development of teachers and the enhancement of teachers' multicultural competencies, and to cultivate the ability of current teachers and pre-service teachers to design teaching materials and methods for multicultural development, the NAER has commissioned National Tsing Hua University to organize the aforementioned training workshop.

III. Participants: Current teachers, substitute teachers, and intern teachers in senior high schools and below, pre-service teachers in universities, teachers related to Indigenous Peoples education, indigenous language teachers, and full-time staff of indigenous language curriculum collaboration centers in each region.

V. Please assist your school in announcing and encouraging relevant teachers to actively register and participate, and please grant participating teachers official leave according to the activity time:

(1) This training is commissioned by the NAER. Please grant your teachers official leave or compensatory leave to attend the training.

(2) For the aforementioned legally designated participants who have not yet participated in the aforementioned training, if they are assigned to participate on a holiday, please grant them compensatory leave to encourage teachers of Indigenous Peoples education to implement Article 37 of the "Indigenous Peoples Education Act" and the "Regulations on the Implementation of Indigenous Peoples Cultural and Multicultural Education Courses for Indigenous Peoples Education Teachers" to enhance their professional teaching capabilities.
