I. In accordance with the "Taipei City 114th Winter Vacation STEAM and New Technology Education Camp Implementation Plan".
II. To cultivate the science and technology literacy of students in all levels of schools in the city and promote interest in learning emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Bureau has planned the 114th Winter Vacation STEAM and New Technology Education Camp to lead students to understand future technological development trends. The important information for this camp is as follows:
(I) Target Audience: Students currently enrolled in the 113 academic year in public and private junior high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools (including non-school experimental education institutions and national schools) under the Bureau, as well as their parents. For age and quota restrictions for each camp, please refer to the "Camp Schedule in the Attached Plan".
(II) Registration Method: All registrations for this event will be conducted online. The registration portal is "Taipei City Technology Education Network" (Chrome browser is recommended). Students are also requested to prepare their "Single Sign-On Service" account in advance for registration. The registration will be based on the student's current grade in the 113 academic year. Please use your "student account" to log in and register (parent accounts are not allowed)."website"
(III) Registration Period: From 9:00 AM on December 23, 113 (Monday) to 12:00 PM on December 30, 113 (Monday). If the number of applicants exceeds the available slots, a computer lottery will be used to determine the admission list.
(IV) Activity Dates and Locations: From January 22, 114 (Wednesday) to February 2, 114 (Sunday) at the respective Maker Education and Technology Centers, STEAM and New Technology Development Office (Chung Shan Girls High School), and Muzha Vocational High School Drone Education Center (Preparatory Office).
(V) The fee per person (group) per session ranges from NT$300 to NT$900 (details can be found in the "Camp Schedule in the Attached Plan"). Economically disadvantaged students are exempt from fees.
III. In addition, Shipai Technology Center and Emerging Technology Center will cooperate with the Bureau to organize the "Taipei Learns Well" event, offering a total of 3 parent-child weekend camps. The relevant activity information is as follows:
(I) Registration Method: Online registration is required (Registration Website).
(II) Registration Period: From December 25, 113 (Wednesday) to 5:00 PM on January 7, 114 (Tuesday).
