I. In accordance with the "Taipei City 114th Academic Year Junior and Senior High School Information and Communication Technology Application Competition Implementation Plan".
II. To expand the city's smart education, replace assessment with competition, and enhance students' core competencies in information education such as technology application, programming design, computational thinking, mechanical structure knowledge, and intelligent AI, the aforementioned competition is hereby organized. Key information for this competition is summarized as follows:
(I) Eligibility: The intelligent group robot competition is limited to students in public and private junior and senior high schools in the city (including students in non-school-based experimental education at national schools); the humanoid robot competition is open to students in public and private junior and senior high schools nationwide.
(II) Competition Categories and Events: "Humanoid Robot" is divided into two events: Task and Combat; "Intelligent Group Robot" is divided into three events: Task Challenge, Open Challenge, and Creative Competition.
(III) Competition Time and Venue:
1. Intelligent Group Robot: From May 23 (Friday) to May 25 (Sunday), 114th Academic Year.
2. Humanoid Robot: From June 28 (Saturday) to June 29 (Sunday), 114th Academic Year.
3. Both competitions will be held at Muzha Vocational High School in the city (Address: No. 77, Section 4, Muzha Road, Wenshan District, Taipei City).
(IV) Competition Registration:
1. Intelligent Group Robot: From 9:00 AM on March 19 (Wednesday) to 4:00 PM on April 2 (Wednesday), 114th Academic Year. Teachers from each school shall complete the registration on the city'sTechnology Education Network. The list of successful participating teams is expected to be announced on April 11 (Friday), 114th Academic Year.
2. Humanoid Robot: From 9:00 AM on April 2 (Wednesday) to 4:00 PM on April 16 (Wednesday), 114th Academic Year. Teachers from each school shall complete the registration on the city'sTechnology Education Network. The list of successful participating teams is expected to be announced on April 23 (Friday), 114th Academic Year.
3. For students in non-school-based experimental education, junior high school (and below) students shall be assisted with registration by their registered school; senior high school students should contact the Taipei City Experimental Education Innovation and Development Center for registration.
(V) Team Leader Meeting:
1. Intelligent Group Robot:
(1) To be held at Muzha Vocational High School in the city on April 25 (Friday), 114th Academic Year, to explain the competition implementation plan and rules.
(2) To be held at Muzha Vocational High School in the city on May 21 (Wednesday), 114th Academic Year, to allow schools to raise questions and provide explanations or amendments to the supplementary rules.
2. Humanoid Robot: To be held at 2:00 PM on May 14 (Wednesday), 114th Academic Year, at Daan Vocational High School.
3. The team leader meetings and competition day activities will be separately notified by the organizing schools, Renai Junior High School and Daan Vocational High School. Please grant participating teachers and students official leave (substitute) to attend.
(VI) Competition Results: To promote the spirit of equal learning opportunities, this competition also features a "Special Judge Award," which will be presented by the judges based on student performance to encourage them.
III. This competition (Junior and Senior High School Information and Communication Technology Application Competition) and the STEAM Cross-Disciplinary Competition are key technology education events in the city. Please encourage teachers and students to participate actively. Public and private junior and senior high schools in the city must nominate representatives to register for at least one competition.
