1. This is in accordance with the Taipei City Elementary School Deep Reading Program for Children Work Plan for 2023-2026.
2. To enhance students' intrinsic motivation for learning and promote digital reading, the Bureau will continue to organize the aforementioned competition, aiming to improve students' dual reading literacy.
3. Event details are as follows:
(1) Participants:
1. Fourth and fifth-grade students from public and private elementary schools in the city, registering as a class.
2. Students must have a "Taipei Cool English Cloud" account to register and participate.
(2) Registration Period: From now until April 18, 2025 (Friday).
(3) Event Time:
1. Practice Session: May 20, 2025 (Tuesday), 8:00 AM to 8:40 AM.
2. Official Competition: June 3, 2025 (Tuesday), 8:00 AM to 8:40 AM.
(4) Registration Method: Email the registration form (PDF) and student data (Excel) to the project teacher for the Deep Reading Program in Taipei City at wentzu@lhes.tp.edu.tw.
(5) Awards:
1. The top 25% of classes with the highest average scores city-wide will receive the "Taipei Cool Reading King" certificate and prizes.
2. Administrative staff who assist students in participating will be commended with one commendation each for two individuals. Homeroom teachers of participating classes will receive one commendation each. These will be issued by each school according to their authority.
