II. According to the monitoring data from the CDC, the domestic COVID-19 epidemic has been on the rise for three consecutive weeks. New
cases of severe COVID-19 and deaths are mostly among the elderly aged 65 and above and those with chronic medical conditions,
with over 95% of them not having received the COVID-19 JN.1 vaccine. To prevent COVID-19
pneumonia, Taiwan has been providing one dose for everyone aged 6 months and above since November 1, 113 (2024).
Additionally, individuals aged 65 and above, indigenous people aged 55-64, and those aged 6 months and above with immunodeficiency
or weakened immunity can receive another dose of the COVID-19 JN.1 vaccine, with at least 6 months (180 days) interval from the previous dose.

III. The COVID-19 virus mutates rapidly, and the circulating vaccine strains are updated annually. If you have not received this season's COVID-19 JN.1 vaccine after October 1, 113 (2024),
regardless of how many doses you have received previously, it is recommended that you get vaccinated with this season's COVID-19 vaccine for adequate protection. Additionally,
it is important to maintain good hygiene habits and self-protection measures. If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, runny nose, or sore throat, in crowded places where it is
difficult to maintain an appropriate distance or in poorly ventilated areas, or when in close contact with the elderly or immunocompromised individuals, wearing a mask is recommended to protect your own and others' health.
