Notice: National Taiwan Library will hold the "2025 Reading and Creation STEAM Literacy Camp" during the summer vacation of 2025. You are welcome to participate!

Description:

1. "Reading" and "Creation" are the foundations for cultivating and building core literacy, and will become key abilities that accompany children as they grow. Through rich and diverse text reading and interaction, we will introduce different scenarios to promote logical expression, empathy, and critical thinking, achieving cross-disciplinary and integrated thinking that can be fully applied to exploration and experience in various fields.

2. This camp integrates the spirit of STEAM education. Through a cross-disciplinary curriculum framework, children will actively participate in activities and hands-on operations. Through gamified teaching, we will promote logical thinking and cultivate children's core knowledge, creativity, teamwork, communication and coordination skills, independent critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

3. Activity information is as follows:

(1) Dates: August 11, 2025 (Monday) to August 15, 2025 (Friday).

(2) Location: Room 4045, National Taiwan Library.

(3) Target Audience: Students in grades 4-7 (grades after summer vacation).

(4) Curriculum Plan: A total of 5 days and 10 sessions (3 hours per session). The curriculum focuses on reading comprehension, creative thinking, creative expression, science experiments, game theory and design, and board game experience and practice, planning cross-disciplinary courses.
