I. The Center for Addiction Prevention of Central Asia University, commissioned by the Ministry of Education, will organize the 2025 Youth Happiness Without Internet Addiction: Three-Day, Two-Night No-Internet Residential Camp (30th session).
II. Activity details:
(I) Weekend Parent-Child Camp Dates and Location:
1. Camp Dates:
(1) Camp: August 15 to August 17, 2025.
(2) "Restart" Parent-Child Workshop: September 14, 2025 (Sunday) (tentative)
(3) "Re-empowerment" Parent-Child Workshop: November 16, 2025 (Sunday) (tentative).
(4) "Great Happiness" Parent-Child Workshop: December 28, 2025 (Sunday) (tentative).
2. Activity Location: Asia University (No. 500, Liufeng Road, Wufeng District, Taichung City).
(II) Target Audience: Teenagers aged 10-18 who are troubled by excessive use of 3C devices and meet the following four criteria:
1. Teen participants must attend the entire residential camp and all three one-day "device-off" parent-child workshops.
2. At least one parent must participate in the parent 3C parenting and positive parent-child communication training, parent-child co-learning activities, the evening event on August 16 (Saturday) at 7 PM, and the three one-day "device-off" parent-child workshops after the camp.
3. Teen participants must not currently have substance use disorders, severe mental illnesses, or physical conditions (such as severe cognitive or intellectual disabilities, severe depression, suicidal risk, or severe diabetes).
4. Teen participants and participating parents must not have had COVID-19 or flu symptoms within two weeks prior to the camp.
