I. The Taipei Marathon is jointly organized by the Taipei City Government, the Chinese Taipei Amateur Athletic Union, and the Chinese Taipei Road Running Association, with this bureau as the implementing agency. It is a major annual event of the Taipei City Government. A Fun Breakfast Run will be held on December 20, 2024 (Saturday), one day before the official race, at the Taipei City Government Plaza (start and finish). This event is suitable for families, beginner runners, and students. Details are as follows:

 (A) 9km Group (including wheelchair group): 

1. Quota: 7,000 people. 

2. Starting time: 6:00 AM (wheelchair group starts 2 minutes earlier). 

3. Route: Starting from the Taipei City Government Plaza, the route goes along Renai Road Sections 1 to 4, and turns back at the original line before Zhongshan South Road (without crossing the intersection).

 (B) 3km Group (including wheelchair group):

1. Quota: 5,000 people. 

2. Starting time: 7:30 AM (wheelchair group starts 2 minutes earlier). 

3. Route: Starting from the Taipei City Government Plaza, the route goes along Renai Road Section 4 to the Dunhua South Road roundabout, and turns back at the original line (without crossing the intersection).

II. Registration for this event will be conducted entirely online via this website. It is scheduled to open fromJuly 4, 2025, 5:00 PM to October 20, 2025, 5:00 PM.
