I. This program is conducted in accordance with the "Taipei City Elementary and Junior High School Science and Innovation Education Implementation Plan for the 2025-2027 school years".
II. A summary of the key information for this plan is as follows:
(A) Participants:
1. Students enrolled in public and private elementary and junior high schools in Taipei City. Participants are divided into three groups: lower elementary, upper elementary, and junior high school.
2. Each school can register a maximum of two teams per group. Each team will be assigned one supervising teacher by the school, with a maximum of two teachers per team.
(B) Application Method:
1. School Selection and Team Registration: After school selection, please submit the scanned PDF version of the "Citizen Science Service Practice Plan Application Form" (Attachment 1), with school seal, to the designated school email address by 4:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025. Elementary school teams should send their application to Ms. Yang Ching-Yi, Wai-Sheng Elementary School, at tct@wses.tp.edu.tw; Junior high school teams should send their application to Ms. Wang Mei-Ling, Wan-Hua Junior High School, at th102@whjhs.tp.edu.tw.
2. Project Review: The "Citizen Science Service Practice Plan" review committee will conduct the review. It is anticipated that 15 projects will be approved for both the lower and upper elementary school groups, and 10 projects for the junior high school group.
3. Results Announcement: The review results will be announced at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, on the websites of Wai-Sheng Elementary School and Wan-Hua Junior High School.
4. Incentive Subsidy: Each approved project will receive a NT$3,000 gift certificate to subsidize the service practice activities.
