I. To promote astronomical knowledge and enhance public awareness and interest in astronomy, this museum will hold an astronomy knowledge test, providing the public with a self-assessment opportunity. Through this event, we aim to bring more people closer to the starry sky, cultivate their interest, and ultimately improve the public's astronomical science literacy.
II. The astronomy knowledge test is open to all ages and educational backgrounds. Participation is free and ungraded. The test consists of two parts: "Constellation Recognition" and "Astronomy Knowledge Test." Participants will be awarded one of five levels of certification, receiving a certificate or commendation accordingly.
III. Registration for this test is strictly online. Online registration will be accepted on the museum's website from September 19th to September 26th, 2025. Please refer to the Astronomy Knowledge Test event brochure for registration details. The test date is November 2nd, 2025. The list of successful participants will be announced on November 20th, 2025, and the awards ceremony will be held at the museum on December 7th, 2025.
IV. To coincide with the test, four sessions on "Teaching the 88 Constellations" will be specially arranged. Members of the public and groups interested in learning about the 88 constellations are welcome to purchase tickets.
