Description:
I. The Academia Sinica will hold the following three series of events on the following two days this year (114), with a total of over 300 popular science activities planned, more than 70% of which do not require registration:
(I) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on October 19 (Sunday), the "Campus Open House" and "Children's Science Day" will be held at the Nangang Campus.
(II) From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on November 8 (Saturday), the "Southern Campus Open Day" will be held at the Southern Campus in Tainan.
II. On October 19, a special popular science lecture on the theme of "The Multiverse of AI" will be held during the "Campus Open House." The lecture will be hosted by President Chung-Ming Kuan of Academia Sinica, with presentations by Dr. Yu Tsao, Researcher and Deputy Director of the Research Center for Information Technology Innovation, Dr. Chuan-Ju Wang, Researcher, and Dr. Hung-Yuan Liao, Distinguished Research Fellow and Director of the Institute of Information Science. The lecture will take place at 10:30 AM on the third floor of the International Conference Hall in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building of Academia Sinica. Pre-registration is encouraged.
III. Groups wishing to visit the campus by tour bus on the day of the event should register for "Tour Bus Registration" on the event website (Registration deadline for Campus Open House is October 13; registration deadline for Southern Campus Open Day is November 3).
